1/20 Groβer Hund Altair by Rainbow Egg.

Excellent news for Maschinen Krieger fans. Rainbow Egg are releasing a new Garage Kit, the 1/20 Groβer Hund Altair. A “Luna Groβer Hund” as seen in the B.D. Section of the latest Maschinen Krieger Profile Book Snake-Eye.

Named after the mythical star in the night sky believed by The Ancients to be a large, snake devouring Eagle,  the SDR’s Altair is the Space and Luna based version of the Semi-Autonomous, Artificially Intelligent, Hunter Killer series of Groβer Hund, or Great Hunting Dog, this name derived from the star constellation of Canis Major and interpreted in the SDR’s Father tongue. The Altaire was developed to combat the Mercenary Force’s highly advanced Snake-Eye Armored Space Fighting Suits.

Rainbow Egg’s kit will be in 1/20 Scale as per the original made by Kow Yokoyama-san and featuring his artwork on the box top. We will be able to build 2 versions from the kit, the Space/Luna version as seen in the Kow Yokoyama Sensei sample models pictured or in a Ground Based version with jump jets. I must get 2 to do one of each! Of course, we can expect to enjoy Katoo-san’s famous impeccable attention to detail and quality as always.

To help Rainbow Egg I’m acting as their international distributor which means I can order for you.

The basic price (all in JPY) in Japan is ¥16,800 with ¥700 for local shipping to me and ¥500 for the bank transfer to Rainbow Egg. That’s the price we would pay as a local here in Japan. I will then ship to you for the price listed on EMS and we are expecting the boxed kit to come in at very close to 1000 g. Please check shipping to your region here. I’ll need 4% of the total to cover international PayPal, the only way I can accept international payments at this time.
