Hasegawa LunaDiver Stingray Testshot Build Up Part 3 Finished and Primed.

Hasegawa LunaDiver 1Finally all put together and cleaned up and a nice coat of Tamiya Surfacer to even it out for some photographs to show the kit’s wonderful form and details. I usually don’t use a surfacer on the 1/20th scale kits but thought that a slightly smoother surface on this space unit would suit the finish and it has a great many seams that it’s good to spot before going further.

When first putting the kit together I must admit to thinking it felt a little small but now believe it’s a really good size for taking in the complex shape and design of the LunaDiver Stingray and am very happy I’ve had the chance to work on this one. It’s a beautifully designed vehicle and Hasegawa have done a fantastic job of bringing it to us in styrene form.

Next stop, can finally get to painting Mini Red J!

Cheers,

Lin.K
