Hasegawa LunaDiver Stingray Testshot Build Up Part 3 Finished and Primed.
Finally all put together and cleaned up and a nice coat of Tamiya Surfacer to even it out for some photographs to show the kit’s wonderful form and details. I usually don’t use a surfacer on the 1/20th scale kits but thought that a slightly smoother surface on this space unit would suit the finish and it has a great many seams that it’s good to spot before going further.
When first putting the kit together I must admit to thinking it felt a little small but now believe it’s a really good size for taking in the complex shape and design of the LunaDiver Stingray and am very happy I’ve had the chance to work on this one. It’s a beautifully designed vehicle and Hasegawa have done a fantastic job of bringing it to us in styrene form.
Next stop, can finally get to painting Mini Red J!
Cheers,

that’s a hell of a neat build, Linc. Can’t wait to see some paint on it! Good to talk to you earlier….
Thanks David! I must admit to trying to be a little more neat to keep it in scale and I must admit it’s a scale I’m not overly familiar with… Thanks for the chat, very much a pleasure!
Great build Linc, love the LD.
This looks like a wonderful kit to put together.
I too am looking forward to your paint work.
